Jake Rush, Esq.
Jacob “Jake” Rush started his career as a Sheriff’s Deputy at the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office. He worked uniform patrol, Honor Guard, trained in high risk warrant service and joined S.W.A.T. before going to law school. After law school, Mr. Rush returned to the Sheriff’s Office as a reserve deputy in patrol and aviation.
As a practicing attorney, Mr. Rush takes the skills and knowledge of law enforcement up the legal chain to the courthouse, focusing on civil prosecution, constitutional law and major traffic incidents. He is admitted to practice in Florida (State and Federal) and before the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Rush passes on his law enforcement and law experience as an instructor here at CSI for the Courtroom Testimony block where students practice testifying in our mock courtroom.
